I’m a wedding videographer with bases in Cheshire and Cornwall. I’ve spent over 20 years filming weddings, alongside a career in television production, and I still love seeing how each day unfolds.
The people are what interest me most. I notice who’s making you laugh, who’s quietly taking everything in, and the little interactions you might miss while you’re busy getting married.
An eye for what's happening around you
My television work has taken me around the world, including filming with Jane McDonald on her travel programmes. It’s taught me to respond to what’s happening, listen carefully and find the story in the details.
At a wedding, that might mean noticing a guest playing with your child or catching a reaction during a speech. I want you to see the people who were there and hear their voices when you watch your film back.
A relaxed way to film your wedding
I keep a low profile and follow the flow of the day. You won’t need to learn how to act for the camera or spend hours setting up shots with me.
Tell me about the people who matter to you and the parts of the day you’re looking forward to. I’ll keep them in mind while leaving room for the unexpected things that make a wedding so personal.
My aim is simple: a film that feels familiar when you watch it, with the atmosphere, conversations and reactions that take you back.
When I'm away from the camera
I love travelling, finding good food and spending time outdoors.
A hike or a wild swim is usually a good way to spend a day, especially if it ends with friends and family by the sea.
